     We'll meet for this field trip at Steinhatchee Falls at 9 am. Look for the brown SRWMD sign announcing Steinhatchee Falls about 2 miles south of US 19/98 on SR 51 - this intersection being a bit west of Cross City. Take the rock road in and follow the signs.

     ONE thing that is always coming up for Suwannee Audubon Is the next field trip. Field trips are often known as "outings." They put members and guests INTO the Suwannee Country Natural Wonders we're all working to protect and preserve. Being there is always better than just hearing about a place or seeing the lines on a map. So, for SuwAud, there is always another outing ahead and you will want to participate. Indeed, you may wish to make your own suggestion for a place unusual and significant. Just e-mail your idea with details to suwaud@yahoo.com and you may become the architect of our next trip into the real Florida.
     
     Who knows what lies in the future? A trip to the museum? A swamp walk? In search of Bison? Finding the Lost Coast? Up A Creek Called Sanders? To put it plainly: The possibilities are endless.
